Episode 034 – You Movin?

Not the best of “Things That are Bugging Me” really. Kinda led to me finding this great Youtube audio of one of Brian Regan’s standup routines, though, so it’s still a win.

I couldn’t find the AMC Theaters series I talk about. You get the idea though.

After the break, I jump right into the whole RoboCop setup. I recently heard the original screenwriter Ed Neumeier on the Harmontown podcast. It was one hell of an interview. I would suggest you give it a listen.

So, we watched it as a family on Sunday and the kids really dug it as well. We went through the usual, “I don’t wanna watch this…” from my daughter who was on the edge of her seat (again) at the end. She loved it. Just like the last film I suggested and the next one.

Such a fun movie.

There really is so so much more to this movie than meets the eye. I would say you might wanna rewatch it if you’ve not in awhile. It’s extra pertinent right now. Oh, they’re also finally making the direct sequel based upon a script from this original screenwriter.

Found a new #1 DC Giant 100 pager at Wal-Mart. I guess I’ll keep buying these if they keep making them.

That’s it for now kids. Like I say, next week’s episode is gonna be gangbusters. This is a great listen leading up to that though.
